Samantha Thompson has been a sought-after home designer in Los Angeles for more than two decades. She undertakes all types of residential projects, with a particular passion for home rebuilds, renovations and additions.

As the principal architect at Samantha Thompson Design, Sam oversees every part of the remodel process. Not only is she a seasoned architect, she also possesses the unique ability to handle the interior design, material selection, permitting, and construction management of each of her projects. In short, Sam handles it all and guides her clients throughout the entire process.

A native of Seattle, Sam graduated with honors from the University of Washington where she was an All-American water polo player. She moved to Los Angeles in 2003 where she received a graduate degree in design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing (FIDM). She held positions with various well-regarded architecture firms in the LA area before starting her own design firm.

She currently lives with her husband and three daughters in Studio City. As a serial remodeler, Sam is currently living in the third home she has designed and remodeled. Having lived through the renovation process herself, Sam is uniquely qualified to guide clients through the construction process and do it as efficiently as possible. Her end product is always a beautiful and functional home infused with personal touches.
